Download VertForgeUpdating from 1.3.0 or earlier? Install the new file, then remove the old VertForge in Creative Cloud (1.3.1 and later register under their own Adobe plugin ID). Paste your key once; if it says the license is on another computer, click Move.
What's new in 1.3.2
- First open goes straight to entering your key, with the email it came in named on screen
- Type TRIAL instead of a key to start your 7-day trial
- Once your key is accepted the panel gets out of the way (no second popup)
- The VQF Engine offer now appears only when you Store or Apply a look, once, instead of at launch
- VQF Engine 1.2.2 fixes multicam camera angles on large projects and is now available for Windows too
Install
One file. This is the whole install.
- Install the panel: double-click the VertForge .ccx you just downloaded. Adobe Creative Cloud installs it (accept the third-party warning).
- Restart Premiere Pro (26.2 or later) and open Window → Extensions (UXP) → Video Quick Fix → VertForge.
- First time? The panel opens straight to the key screen. Type TRIAL and hit Start to begin your free trial — or paste the key from your email (subject "Your VertForge license key"). The panel gets out of the way once your key is accepted. Your 7 trial days start now, not when you downloaded.
- Cut multicam? Install the free, optional VQF Engine (Mac and Windows), then in Premiere Pro open Settings → Control Surface (Mac) or Edit → Preferences → Control Surface (Windows) and click ADD if VQF Engine isn't listed. Cropping, stacking, swapping and saved looks all work without it.
Didn't get your key?
Your license key arrives by email right after you sign up. If it's not in front of you:
- Search your inbox for "VertForge license key" — and give spam or Promotions one look.
- Nothing there? Type TRIAL in the panel's key field and press Start — your trial begins right there, no email needed. (Or sign up again with the same email at the trial page; doing it twice is fine.)
- Still nothing? Email support@videoquickfix.com from the address you signed up with and your key will be sent to you directly.
If something's not working
The .ccx installs through the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app, not Premiere Pro. Install Creative Cloud, sign in, then double-click the .ccx again and accept the third-party warning.
Fully quit and reopen Premiere Pro (26.2 or later — older versions won't show it). Then look under Window → Extensions (UXP) → Video Quick Fix → VertForge. It's the Extensions (UXP) menu, not the older Extensions menu above it.
Good news: your key worked. Older builds just didn't say so clearly. Close and reopen the panel and you're in — or better, download the latest build above: the panel now confirms your key and closes itself.
The engine is optional — cropping, stacking, swapping and saved looks all work without it. A quick engine check when the panel opens is normal. If you want multicam cutting, install the free VQF Engine, then in Premiere Pro open Settings → Control Surface (Mac) or Edit → Preferences → Control Surface (Windows) and click ADD if it isn't listed.
Install VertForge on the new machine and paste the same key. When the panel says your license is active on another computer, click Move. That's it — one license, one active machine.
